DCSD Curriculum Connections Guides for K-8
DeKalb’s curriculum is aligned to the Georgia Standards of Excellence in language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies. In addition to core studies, students are offered a variety of learning experiences to develop the whole child.
DCSD Gifted and High Achievers
DCSD’s gifted program brings gifted children together to experience a variety of challenging activities, supports teachers in the area of educating gifted children, and provides guidance for the parents/guardians of gifted students.
DCSD Special Education
DCSD Department of Special Education meets the individual needs of students ages three through twenty-one who are eligible for special education and related services according to the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).
